RANADE Oration

INTRODUCTION

RANADE ORATION is a prestigious oration given by Telangana State Branch of IADVL every year during CUTICON-Telangana. Member shall apply with the topic and a brief note on his/her contribution/publications to the field of his/her topic. The topic to be presented shall be based on the publication work in an indexed journal. Both academic achievement and contribution of the applicant to IADVL/IADVL Telangana will be considered during selection. The oration will be given only once to a person.

Criteria for Ranade Oration

1. Must be a life member of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists from Telangana State (IADVL Telangana).
2. The applicant should have at least 20 years of experience in the speciality after passing Diploma/MD/DNB.
3. The topic of oration must have been published in an indexed journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy with the applicant being one of the authors.
4. At least two original or review articles on the subject, preferably in indexed journals, as first, second or corresponding author.
5. The applicant must have at least 5 publications in peer reviewed journals as first,second or corresponding author.
6. At least two presentations (paper / invited lecture) on the subject in regional, national or international conferences.
7. Chapters on the subject in standard textbooks or a monograph on the subject.
8. The applicant has been recognised as an authority in the subject by peers, in case of lack of publications and/or presentations.
